Overview

In this role you drive the development teams responsible for Global Payroll Convergence, operating in an agile environment. You will align with Product Management, Integrations Architects and DevOps to prevent technical debt and ensure resilient ecosystems. You enable teams to deliver high-quality, secure, scalable solutions while embracing AI-driven development. You lead by example, develop people, and communicate across global stakeholders to realize the roadmap.

Responsabilidades

- Support and lead Agile development across one or more Global Payroll Convergence teams with cross-functional roles
- Act as first point of contact for escalations and participate in outcome-based team structures
- Track progress using Jira Software and Jira Align and monitor team delivery
- Develop and mentor team members, foster inclusive and high-performance environments
- Collaborate with Product Management, Integrations Architects and DevOps to align on technical decisions and minimize risks
- Manage team KPIs around code quality, innovation, agility, automation, security and resilience
- Participate in stakeholder meetings to understand business needs and drive roadmap delivery with Product Management
- Present and defend team approaches to leadership and collaborate with Integral Product and Technology teams
- Lead and guide two-week sprints, maintain timelines and coding standards
- Drive adoption of AI development life cycle and GenAI coding agents
- Review strategy,



architecture, and design for scalable web applications
- Collaborate with cross-geography teams and influence Scrum maturity
- Review and improve software design patterns and best practices in enterprise development

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering, or related field
- 5-10 years proven management experience
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across geographic locations
- Ability to manage multiple demands in a performance-based, structured environment
- Experience with change management and introducing new technologies
- JIRA expertise for backlog, dependencies, and status reporting
- Experience with design patterns, architecture review, and scalable web applications
- Strong knowledge of Core Java (Java 11+), OOP, SOLID, and design patterns
- Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, RESTful APIs, and microservices
- Memory management and performance optimization
- Messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- SQL/NoSQL databases, Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD pipelines
- Unit testing (JUnit, Mockito)
- Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Basic knowledge of AWS (as a minimum exposure)
- GenAI tool familiarity (Co Pilot or AmazonQ)
