Overview In this Lead Integration Architect role, you define and operationalize interoperability standards across Agilent's software platform and partner divisions. You act as a hands-on technical leader, shaping reference patterns and governance for APIs, event-driven design, and schema/versioning to enable scalable cross-system integration. You'll review designs, guide teams, and own the delivery of platform-wide integration solutions.

This role offers an opportunity to influence architecture decisions at scale and to build a reusable catalog of integration patterns that align with the company's software ecosystem.

Responsabilidades

Design and own integration architecture solutions across the software platform, instruments, applications, and enterprise systems

Define integration standards and reference architectures: API design, event-driven patterns, schema governance, and versioning, validating implementations

Architect and hands-on guide containerized integration solutions using Kubernetes for reliability, scalability, and operability

Review and approve critical integration designs across product teams and make binding architecture decisions

Build and maintain a library of reusable integration patterns and reference implementations





Partner across divisions as the go-to integration authority for cross-system problems

Define integration contracts between platform services, instruments, and enterprise systems

Identify and remediate integration patterns that introduce technical debt or cross-team coupling

Requisitos principales 10+ years of software engineering or architecture experience

5+ years in hands-on integration architecture roles

Deep expertise across REST/GraphQL API design, event-driven architecture (Kafka, MQTT, or equivalent), asynchronous messaging, and schema governance

Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes for deploying and operating containerized workloads at platform scale

Experience with Docker and cloud-native deployment patterns across edge and cloud environments

Proven track record of delivering integration solutions with design and implementation ownership

Experience setting API versioning, schema management, and contract-based integration standards

Ability to make and defend binding architecture decisions across teams with competing priorities cross-functional collaboration problem-solving mindset ability to influence and guide multiple teams
