Role Description The Occupational Therapist will provide assessment and intervention services to individuals requiring support to improve daily functioning, independence, and quality of life. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating functional abilities, designing personalized treatment and rehabilitation plans, implementing therapeutic activities, and monitoring progress. The role involves close collaboration with medical and multidisciplinary teams, maintaining accurate documentation, and communicating effectively with clients, families, and caregivers.
The Occupational
Therapist may work with diverse populations, including pediatric clients,
and will contribute to continuous improvement of care protocols and safety standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Málaga.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and implement evidence-based intervention plans.
- Solid understanding of Medicine and related clinical concepts to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and interpret medical information.
- Demonstrated Communication skills to interact with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, and to provide clear education and guidance.
- Experience or training in Pediatrics, with the capacity to adapt therapeutic approaches to children and adolescents when required.
- Relevant university degree in Occupational Therapy and current professional registration or eligibility according to local regulations.
- Ability to work on-site in Málaga, prioritize caseloads, and maintain thorough, accurate clinical documentation.
- Knowledge of quality and safety standards in healthcare or rehabilitation environments; experience in regulated or audit-driven settings is an advantage.
- Commitment to ethical practice, client-centered care, continuous learning, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
