Overview

As FinOps Tech Lead, you drive cloud financial management across multi-cloud environments, ensuring cost efficiency and governance. You’ll blend technical leadership with financial stewardship, partnering with engineering, finance, and product teams to enable data-driven decisions, automation, and cost transparency. You will shape FinOps strategy, implement real-time cost monitoring, and mentor engineers to foster financial discipline. This role offers impact by aligning cloud spend with business goals and driving scalable cost optimization.

Responsabilidades

- Define and lead the FinOps roadmap for cloud cost optimization and financial governance
- Implement tagging strategies, dashboards, and real-time cost reporting
- Drive automation for cost anomaly detection, budgeting alerts, and resource optimization
- Collaborate with finance, procurement, and engineering to align cost strategies
- Mentor FinOps engineers and promote cost efficiency culture
- Manage cloud cost practices across AWS, Azure, and other platforms
- Define pricing models and resource allocation strategies for cost optimization




- Implement real-time monitoring and anomaly detection for cloud spend
- Drive automation for cost reporting and forecasting
- Design, develop, and maintain FinOps data platforms and data models (SQL Server)
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for cost and usage data
- Create and enhance FinOps dashboards and reports (Power BI)
- Design scalable data models for cost allocation, chargeback, and financial reporting
- Collaborate with DevOps to improve reliability and cost efficiency
- Lead knowledge-sharing sessions on FinOps best practices

Requisitos principales

- Strong expertise in FinOps, cloud economics, and cost optimization
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP and tagging strategies
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation tools
- Excellent financial analysis, forecasting, and business case development
- Leadership experience in cross-functional teams and stakeholder management
- Strong experience with SQL Server, Data Engineering, Power BI, and Data Modeling
