Better Ads GmbH builds technology to enable and improve how digital advertising works while at the same time trying to improve the user experience and significantly enhance consumer privacy (e.g. no tracking) relative to the industry standard.
We work with rather than against the advertising ecosystem and this means integrating the best in-class off-the-shelf technologies suitable to our purpose and building new technology when necessary. This hybrid rather than do-it-all approach means we can move faster and try to focus on building things that have the potential to be game changers for our business, advertisers and consumers.
Better Ads is currently a small technical team yet we have almost 80 internal git repos used across a variety of projects and services.
What are we looking for?
A senior backend or full stack developer. We seek a responsible and organized individual capable of working effectively in a remote team.
Attention to detail and a proactive, constructive attitude are essential.
We want to integrate AI/ML into our tool belt.
Part of your job will be to learn it.
We will provide you with the time and materials required. You don't need to be an expert in Math or a PhD
You should be a strong individual contributor capable of independent problem solving, good component architecture and producing high quality, well-tested code. You are motivated to understand the business problem domain. You know when to ask for help and input and are also able to mentor and collaborate well with other team members as the team grows.
