This Position reports to: R&D; Team Lead - Robotic Software Engineering In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product, and/or solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP). LI-hybrid - Sant Quirze del Vallès (Barcelona) This role is part of the Sevensense team at ABB Robotics in Spain and Switzerland. This is a unique opportunity to build, optimize, and maintain the secure IT foundation that enables our engineers to develop industry-leading visual navigation systems.

Translate architecture into reality by installing, configuring, and deploying the core Linux infrastructure, clusters, and network fabrics you and the team design for the Barcelona and Zurich sites. Write and commit production-grade automation code (Ansible, Terraform) to deploy infrastructure as code, eliminating manual configuration drift.



Architect and build high-availability Linux infrastructure alongside enterprise storage solutions.

Enforcing robust cybersecurity practices and ensuring local compliance with global corporate security standards. Providing hands-on Linux endpoint management, software provisioning, and day-to-day IT support for the R&D; team. 3+ years of professional experience in Linux Infrastructure or Systems Administration. ~ Proven experience in setting up and configuring Linux infrastructure for new locations or scaling environments. ~ Solid knowledge of networking (firewalls, VPNs, routing), OS deployment, and endpoint management (Linux). ~ You are at ease communicating in English (essential for daily collaboration with the Zurich team and global corporate stakeholders). ~ Bonus points for previous experience supporting R&D;, engineering, or robotics environments. ~ Bonus points if you have a Cybersecurity certification (e.AWS, Docker, Debian, Proxmox, Nutanix, Mikrotik.
