Business Development Manager – Aerospace & Defense

We are looking for a
Business Development Manager – Aerospace & Defense
to develop new business opportunities and strengthen XPO’s presence within these strategic sectors.

You will manage the complete commercial cycle, build relationships with key customers and work with internal teams to develop competitive, compliant and profitable logistics solutions.

What you’ll do on a typical day
- Identify and develop new Aerospace & Defense business opportunities.
- Build relationships with OEMs, suppliers, MRO providers and other key stakeholders.
- Manage the sales cycle from prospecting through contract signature and implementation.
- Prepare commercial proposals, presentations and tenders.
- Design tailored solutions with Operations, Pricing and Tender Management.
- Negotiate commercial conditions while protecting profitability.
- Maintain the commercial pipeline and monitor market opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with quality, security, customs and export-control requirements.





What you need to succeed at XPO
- Experience in Business Development, Sales or Key Account Management.
- Knowledge of the Aerospace & Defense sectors and their supply chains.
- Experience in logistics, transport or supply-chain solutions.
- Strong commercial, communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage complex B2B sales processes.
- Availability to travel.
- Professional level of English and Spanish.

It’d be great if you also have
- An established network within Aerospace & Defense.
- Experience with OEMs, Tier suppliers, MRO organisations or defence customers.
- Knowledge of secure, time-critical or regulated logistics operations.
- Experience with international tenders and multinational accounts.
