About the Opportunity

Our client is scaling at an extraordinary pace and is building the next generation of AI-powered consumer technology. To support an aggressive product roadmap and massive user growth, they are adding experienced Senior Backend Engineers to their engineering team.

This is a highly impactful role where you’ll contribute directly to system design, product direction, and large-scale platform performance—all within a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.

You’ll collaborate closely with product leadership, engineering, and executive stakeholders to bring bold ideas to life.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Partner with Product Managers to translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions

- Design backend architectures, integrations, and data flows

- Own features end-to-end: development, testing, deployment, and maintenance

- Review code, participate in pull requests, and raise engineering quality standards

- Contribute to technical strategy, experimentation, and performance optimization

- Work closely with a distributed team including platform engineers, SREs, and data specialists

> While full-stack experience is welcomed, this role is heavily weighted toward deep Ruby on Rails backend expertise.

What We’re Looking For

Core Requirements

- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience

- Recent, hands-on experience developing with Ruby on Rails

- Experience building and maintaining high-traffic, production-grade applications

- Background working in startups, scale-ups, or other rapid-growth environments





- Strong English communication skills (written & spoken)

- High ownership mentality—you take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks

- Ability to balance speed with thoughtful engineering craftsmanship

- Strong product mindset with a focus on exceptional user experience

- Comfortable working on platforms that involve uncensored model-based content

Nice-to-Have Experience

- Exposure to data engineering, machine learning, or generative AI systems

- Experience collaborating across globally distributed teams
