Overview

As Thermo-Mechanical AIT ME, you enable and industrialize the Manufacturing System for spacecraft projects within Airbus Space Spain. You work in cross-functional projects to develop, integrate, test, and deliver thermo-mechanical and electrical hardware for spacecraft payloads. You'll lead work preparation, define manufacturing processes, and ensure traceable, compliant MBOM and Dossier contents.

This role offers interaction with engineering, production, and quality teams across a multinational space environment and a chance to influence end-to-end AIT execution.

Responsabilidades

Confer with Engineering to confirm design feasibility within the industrial system

Bring industrial expertise to multifunctional project teams

Understand and maintain Manufacturing Dossier traceability (As Design-As Planned)

Assess and optimize manufacturing technologies within Space Spain Plant and partner networks

Ensure feasibility of assembly, integration, and testing of thermal, mechanical, and electrical hardware

Define MBOM and ensure material availability for Supply Chain





Provide technical support to AIT managers and shopfloor teams during breadboard, qualification, and flight model activities

Lead development of AIT work procedures and integrate them into Work Orders

Coordinate with Quality to incorporate control plans and PFMEA inputs

Support scheduling, resource optimization, and budget/input for cost improvements

Promote continuous improvement through lessons learned and PPS

Contribute to qualification campaigns and deployment of new processes or materials

Assist on-site during campaigns or supplier facilities when needed

Foster cross-functional feedback loops and on-site coaching

Requisitos principales Aerospace, Telecommunications, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering background

3 to 5 years of experience in AIT (Assembly, Integration and Test) production

Knowledge of ESA ECSS standards (nice to have)

Knowledge of CATIA (nice to have)

Knowledge of DDMS environment (Delmia, Apriso, etc) (nice to have)

Fluent in English and Spanish
