Overview In this role you drive end-to-end security certification programs for SUSE's enterprise portfolio, ensuring high-assurance compliance. You'll translate certification requirements into actionable engineering work across Linux, KVM-based virtualization, and containerized HCI, while building AI-assisted automation for ongoing certification efforts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external labs to shape certified configurations and robust testing frameworks.

Responsabilidades Build and test certified configurations focusing on KVM-based architectures

Develop and maintain AI-assisted automation tools for continuous security certifications and testing

Translate complex certification requirements from bodies like NIAP, BSI, and NIST into engineering parameters





Maintain and integrate certification testing requirements into automated CI/CD workflows

Coordinate with production engineering to implement architectural recommendations and security findings from labs

Requisitos principales 5+ years of computing experience in software product development, academia, or FOSS communities

Strong Linux OS knowledge, KVM and containerized virtualization expertise

Proficiency in Bash and Python; Ansible for configuration management

Experience with Jira and Bugzilla; ability to work with AI-assisted productivity workflows

Knowledge of security hardening, cryptographic standards, and compliance frameworks (OVAL, XCCDF, SCAP, STIGs)
