About the Role

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating and converting group business, managing inquiries ranging from 10 to 465 rooms per night. You will craft tailored proposals, negotiate contracts, and nurture lasting client relationships that support the hotel’s commercial success. Working closely with the Associate Director of Sales, you will play a key role in positioning Grand Hyatt Barcelona as a preferred destination for meetings, incentives, and group travel.
Main Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Business Development
- Identify, qualify,



and develop new group business aligned with the hotel’s commercial strategy.
- Build strong and lasting relationships with meeting planners, corporate clients, organizations, Hyatt Sales Force, Convention Bureaus, and key industry partners.
- Actively seek new opportunities and enhance existing partnerships to maximize revenue potential.
Tailored Sales Approach & Proposal Excellence
- Understand client needs and deliver customized proposals that highlight the hotel’s offerings, services, and unique experiences.
- Prepare polished presentations and maintain accurate booking information in internal systems.
- Monitor the status of group leads, analyze competition, and adjust offers as needed to secure business.
Site Inspections & Client Experience
- Organize and lead site visits that reflect the hotel’s luxury standards and exceed client expectations.
- Ensure a seamless and memorable inspection experience that strengthens conversion potential.
