To lead our young and ambitious Data and AI team we are seeking an
experienced Lead Data
. You will own the architecture of our data platform and the technical decisions that shape it, while remaining hands-on on our pipelines. You will lead a team of specialists; a data engineer and a data analyst, each an expert in their own field, and act as the main point of contact for our product, tech and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own the architecture of the data platform and the structural decisions that come with it: data modelling, governance, security and cost.
- Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines on Azure using Databricks, Spark and dbt.
- Lead and grow the data team: code reviews, technical standards, prioritisation and skills development.
- Translate business and product needs into a prioritised data roadmap, and secure its delivery end to end.




- Guarantee the reliability, quality and cost efficiency of the platform, including Databricks spend management.
- Support the AI team in deploying their developments into production, empowering end-users to harness their full potential.
- Establish best practices and maintain data governance policies and data standards.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and incorporate them into the design of our data platform.

Idóneo profile:
- Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, or related field
- At least 3/5 years of experience in data engineering or data analytics, including a first experience as a lead or technical referent
- Demonstrated experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably on Databricks
- Proficiency in SQL, Python and PySpark, with hands-on production experience of dbt
- Strong background in data warehousing, ETL processes and data modelling
