Founded in Barcelona in 2021, Trialing is on a mission to provide equal access to clinical trials for all patients.

Clinical trials offer a unique opportunity for patients to receive the most innovative treatments available. Our goal is to develop advanced technological tools that empower healthcare professionals to offer these trials to every patient.

We’ve built a powerful search engine that allows doctors to find clinical trials quickly and efficiently. It also enables them to refer patients from one hospital to another. As a result, we help hundreds of patients every day access cutting-edge treatments they might not have otherwise had the chance to receive.

After two years of growth—and with users in over 500 hospitals—we’ve established ourselves as leaders in Southern Europe and are now expanding globally. About the role

We're on the hunt for a smart, motivated, and hard-working Senior Full-Stack Engineer with a robust background in software development, ready to dive into the development of our app and backend, accelerating feature rollout.

We’re looking specifically for an Engineer with a Product mindset.

Your mission will include:

- Architect and develop new features in our Flutter frontend for our mobile app and web app, as well as in Django for our backend.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new features.

- Write high quality and high performance code in Dart.

- Take ownership of the product and new features.





- Implement integration tests, unit tests, and run experiments in our platform.

- Have an impact on the product, which is used by thousands of doctors.

- Contribute to Trialing’s engineering culture.

- Ensure code quality and security, implementing best practices.

- Challenge assumptions with focus on implementing minimum testable features and adapting quickly.

Moreover, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team comprised of healthcare professionals, doctors, data analysts, and engineers. With your expertise, you will contribute to the growth of Trialing and help achieve our mission.

About you

We are looking for a passionate person who is deeply committed to health, highly effective, and eager to work with us. You’ll be the perfect match if you understand and align with our company's values and mission.

You’re ideal for this role if you:

- Have at least 7 years of proven full-time work experience in frontend software development.

- Are proficient in Flutter or mobile development.

- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).

- Have a product mindset and enjoy thinking about the user experience and the impact of your work on end-users.





- Are excited about being an individual contributor and taking ownership of Trialing’s codebase.

- Have strong technical know-how in software development, emphasizing code and architectural best practices.

- Are skilled at designing beautiful apps and web apps.

- Are capable of deconstructing complex problems into actionable tasks.

- Proficiency in English and Spanish; fluency in one and at least general proficiency in the other

- Are based in Barcelona.

Nice to have

- Proficiency in Django/Python or backend development.

- Background in healthcare or related fields.

- Familiarity running A/B tests.

- Familiarity with testing platforms.

- Experience with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Notion).
