We are an international distribution company based in Zaragoza, looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our team.
We are currently undergoing a period of expansion and growth and are seeking someone with a cross-functional vision of logistics and supply chain management.
What will you do? You will be responsible for:
- Managing, monitoring and negotiating with manufacturers and suppliers.
- Managing, leading and developing a team of more than 10 people.
- Providing a strategic, general and integrated vision of management, distribution and final delivery processes.
- Designing, proposing and implementing measures and methodologies to improve processes within the department.
- Managing export operations.
- Leading the implementation of logistics technology, including a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitoring departmental expenditure.
- Managing the department’s financial resources and operations.
- Facilitating communication between departments and customers.
- Collaborating with different departments in a cross-functional environment.
- Optimising business processes,
with a particular focus on logistics.
- Managing the logistics flow, including receiving, warehousing, order preparation, dispatch, stock management and inventory.
- Analysing the available facilities and resources to improve efficiency and performance.
- Reporting directly to General Management.
What are we looking for? We are seeking someone with:
- A university degree in Engineering or a related field. A postgraduate qualification or Master’s degree in Operations or Logistics will be highly valued.
- More than four years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience in international expansion projects.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1 or equivalent).
- A process-oriented mindset.
- Strong market and product analysis skills.
- The ability to make quick and effective decisions.
- A proactive, resourceful and self-motivated approach.
