An international technology company is expanding its software engineering team in Barcelona and is looking for a Software Developer to help build an advanced platform used within mobile robotics and industrial automation environments.

You will join a multicultural, globally distributed team developing a sophisticated product that supports the configuration and management of automated operations. This is a hands-on development position for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, contributing to product decisions and continuously improving their engineering skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain robust, scalable and maintainable software using .NET and Angular.

- Contribute across both backend and frontend components of the product.

- Participate in the technical analysis of new requirements and help define appropriate implementation approaches.

- Write clean, testable and efficient code following established engineering standards.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.

- Create and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality and reliability.

- Collaborate with product, engineering and other technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

- Participate throughout the product lifecycle, from requirements refinement and development to deployment and production support.

- Identify opportunities to improve application performance, development processes and team practices.

- Share technical knowledge and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.

- Work closely with senior engineers and progressively take ownership of increasingly complex product areas.





Requirements
- Professional experience developing software applications with C# and .NET.

- Practical experience building frontend applications with Angular and TypeScript.

- Full-stack development experience or the ability and motivation to work across backend and frontend components.

- Good understanding of object-oriented programming, clean-code principles and software design fundamentals.

- Experience developing or integrating REST APIs.

- Experience working with relational databases and SQL.

- Familiarity with automated testing, code reviews and version-control workflows.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail.

- Proactive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to take ownership of assigned work.

- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with an international, cross-functional team.

- Professional proficiency in English.

- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to Have
- Experience with graph-based algorithms or mathematical modelling.

- Exposure to simulation or emulation software.

- Knowledge of UI performance optimisation or complex data visualisation.

- Familiarity with microservices, distributed systems or event-driven architectures.

- Previous exposure to mobile robotics, industrial automation, intralogistics, warehouse technologies or material-handling systems.

- Experience working in Agile product-development environments.
