The Solution Architect acts as the trusted advisor and technical authority for designing, validating, and articulating multi-technology solutions that meet customer needs and partner strategy while safeguarding commercial and technical integrity. This role combines deep technical expertise with pre-sales engagement, enabling partners through workshops, demonstrations, and training while supporting sales teams in achieving revenue and profitability targets. Success requires translating complex architectures into clear business value, maintaining vendor certifications, and ensuring first-time-right solution design.

Solution Design & Validation

Design complete, scalable solutions across multiple technology domains.

Validate technical, operational, and commercial feasibility; approve or adjust designs as required.

Provide configuration details, bill-of-materials, and technical validation for quotes prepared by IAMs or IVSS.

Guarantee compliance with vendor standards and internal governance.

Ensure SLA adherence for design validation and compliance with governance standards.

Partner & Customer Enablement

Deliver technical sessions, workshops, and hands-on training for partners and internal teams.

Lead solution demonstrations and proof-of-concepts to showcase value and differentiation.

Act as a visible technical ambassador at partner and vendor events.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with IAMs, PSMs, and VSMs to support joint solution execution.

Coordinate with vendor technical teams to confirm design compliance and access latest innovations.

Act as escalation point for design disputes or configuration conflicts.

Provide technical validation for pipeline opportunities to support accurate forecasting.

Field Engagement





Maintain regular presence with partners and customers to position solutions and gather insights.

Participate in roadshows, exhibitions, and technical events to reinforce solution leadership.

Knowledge Development & Innovation

Maintain up-to-date vendor certifications and cross-domain expertise (cloud, networking, security, collaboration).

Share knowledge internally through training and mentoring programs.

Contribute to process improvements and best-practice documentation for solutioning workflows.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

Proven experience in pre-sales or solution architecture roles.

Strong technical knowledge across multiple IT domains and vendor ecosystems.

Ability to translate technical solutions into business outcomes.

Language: English & Spanish(business fluency).

Familiarity with multi-vendor IT distribution and channel sales.

Experience in partner enablement and technical training delivery.

Education & Qualifications
