You'll join Marosa by Wolters Kluwer's VAT Compliance team to learn how VAT compliance works across different European countries, always under the supervision of a mentor. You'll work with real cases, industry-specific tools, and a multinational team. It's an opportunity to take your first steps in indirect tax, with training and continuous feedback from day one. The internship can be full-time or part-time (mornings), depending on your availability.
What you'll do
- Learn how to prepare VAT returns for different countries, under the supervision of a senior consultant.
- Get to know how a multinational VAT compliance team operates across Europe.
- Become familiar with VAT preparation software and the applicable accounting principles.
- Take part in team projects and tasks for learning purposes.
- Shadow the team's day-to-day work to understand VAT compliance processes and tools.
- Receive ongoing training and feedback from the senior consultant and your internship mentor.
What we're looking for
Required
- Currently in your final year, or recently graduated, in Law, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- English level that allows you to work in an international team.
- Ability to sign an internship agreement with your university or school.
Nice to have
- Interest in international taxation or VAT.
- Basic knowledge of Excel.
- Any additional language is welcome.
