We have taken advantage of 2021 to completely modernize the Empordà Golf Club and turn it, not only into one of the most emblematic golf settings in Spain, but also into one of the main 36-hole golf destinations in Europe.

We have made a considerable investment to remodel all the facilities, including the two 18-hole golf courses, the 86-room hotel, and the wellness facilities.

At the heart of the Empordà Golf Resort are its magnificent championship courses – the Empordà Dunes and the Empordà Forest – designed by Robert von Hagge, a globally recognized architect. This was his first creation in Spain, and while both layouts belong to the same architect, that's where the similarities between these two courses end, as each presents different challenges.

Adjacent to the golf courses is the new Empordà hotel, which boasts 86 rooms and suites, all designed with a contemporary style that promotes the rest and relaxation of guests.

Golf is just one of the activities available during your stay at the resort. Guests can also go sailing, cycling, rent a boat, scuba dive, horseback ride, kayak or paddleboard, practice yoga, and attend training classes.

Waiter/Waitress Internship

Main responsibilities: This is a dynamic position that requires a versatile person, with a willingness to support wherever the team needs it. Main responsibilities include:

- Providing excellent customer service at the bar, in the restaurant and during events.
- Preparing for service and ensuring that all areas consistently meet our standards.
- Setting up and preparing dining areas and tables, as well as clearing and organising them after service.
- Receiving, checking and organising deliveries.
- Working closely with the rest of the team to ensure a smooth and well-coordinated service.
- Supporting the kitchen when necessary, understanding that we work as one team.
- Contributing to the cleanliness, order and organisation of all working areas.

Requirements:

- Proficiency in Catalan and Spanish.
- Fluency in English and/or French, particularly to communicate naturally with international guests.
- Driving licence and own vehicle.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to work as part of a team and take on different responsibilities according to the needs of the service.

What matters most to us: We do not expect you to arrive knowing exactly how we do everything. We can teach you that.
