Experteer Overview

In this Information Security Engineer role, you help ensure Google Cloud and related systems meet the highest security standards. You will perform technical security assessments, code reviews, and vulnerability testing to identify and remediate risks, partnering with software engineers to fix flaws.

You’ll design security controls and responses to vulnerabilities, contributing to secure-by-design initiatives across multiple technology stacks. This role offers impact at scale by safeguarding users and developers and shaping secure cloud solutions.

Compensaciones / Incentivos

- Identify security issues and design security controls, tools, and services to strengthen security systems
- Conduct security reviews, reproduce vulnerabilities, and design secure protocols and systems; write tests and fuzzers
- Perform vulnerability testing and remediation,



including responses with mitigations and hardening
- Collaborate with software engineers across stacks to proactively fix security flaws
- Support risk reduction through security assessments and code reviews
- Respond to vulnerabilities with actionable mitigations and follow-up improvements

Responsabilidades

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 2 years of security assessments, design reviews, or threat modeling
- 2 years of security engineering experience, network security, and security protocols
- 2 years of coding experience in a general-purpose language
