In this role you lead a cross-functional Android engineering team in Barcelona, delivering scalable mobile solutions used across many regions. You drive technical decisions, ensure quality and performance, and partner with product to align solutions with business needs. You will scale an established team while maintaining high reliability and low latency for a general platform. This is an opportunity to shape mobile architecture and mentor engineers in a fast-paced, diverse environment.

Responsabilidades
Lead day-to-day development and long-term growth of the Android engineering team
Make ownership of technical decisions and promote collaborative problem-solving
Ensure code quality, testing standards, and engineering best practices
Drive value-focused product increments in short iterations




Maintain a high-reliability, low-latency system used across 60+ countries
Provide technical direction with Product to design scalable solutions
Manage and monitor team metrics and KPIs with visibility and alerting
Deliver reliable, cost-effective, and scalable technical solutions
Requisitos principales
Minimum 1 year of experience leading engineering teams
Mentoring, coaching, and supporting engineers in growth
Strong Android development expertise (core concepts, architecture, scalable mobile design)
Clear, structured xqbhyrx communication and technical documentation skills
Professional experience with Kotlin and monitoring/reporting tools (Sentry, Firebase Crashlytics)
Ability to build dashboards from multiple data sources (JIRA, BigQuery) and make data-driven decisions
Experience managing dependencies across tasks and teams
Full professional proficiency in English
