In this role you will design, develop and maintain firmware for analytical/diagnostic instruments, interfacing microcontrollers with instrument electronics. You will participate in R&D; projects from requirements to validation, collaborating with hardware and other teams to ensure performance. You’ll implement, test, and document firmware while addressing incidents and contributing to architecture. This position offers work in a global healthcare company with opportunities to shape advanced diagnostic solutions.

Responsabilidades
Design, develop and maintain firmware for diagnostic instruments with microcontrollers
Contribute to firmware architecture and design specifications in collaboration with R&D; teams
Implement and verify firmware across assigned projects
Participate in R&D; projects and provide technical solutions across development phases
Perform basic firmware testing and coordinate with hardware/testing teams for validation




Analyze firmware incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective actions
Create and maintain firmware documentation per quality standards
Requisitos principales
Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field
3–4 years of hands-on firmware development for microcontrollers
Strong C/C++ programming skills, especially C++
Experience with Renesas and/or Xilinx microcontrollers
Experience with E2Studio and Vivado/Vitis or similar environments
Experience in firmware design, implementation, and verification in R&D;
Experience xqbhyrx with Git or Bitbucket
Experience with requirements/specifications tools (JAMA or DOORS) is valued
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and JIRA
Experience in industrial environments, robotics, automation, instrumentation or advanced electronics
Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Strong teamwork and communication skills
