As a Design Engineer at Schneider Electric, you will develop and refine electro-mechanical products and sub-assemblies to meet reliability, safety, and performance goals. You’ll collaborate across disciplines to deliver robust, manufacturable solutions aligned with standards. You’ll drive DFMEA/FTA-driven design decisions and manage interfaces, variants, and production readiness. Responsabilidades
Design and review system elements, components, and sub-assemblies
Contribute to the DfSR process (P-Diagram, Interface Diagram, Interface matrix/Architecture View, DFMEA, FTA)
Define components/sub-assemblies mission profile
Perform DFMEA mitigation actions, design optimization, and tolerance stack-up; manage simulations
Manage variants, versions, baselines of prototypes (data and physical)
Create/modify/validate Definition File (BOM, drawings, material selection) per specs, manufacturability, and supply constraints (cost targets)
Write and manage Verification Test Plan for parts/sub-assemblies
Release Definition File for Production
Requisitos principales
Specialized electro-mechanical design and product development expertise
Experience xqbhyrx designing and improving products, components, and sub-assemblies
Knowledge of DFMEA, FTA, tolerance stack-up, and interface analysis
Experience managing technical definition files (BOMs, drawings, materials, variants, versions, baselines)
