In this role you drive the standardization and optimization of manufacturing test solutions across regional plants to boost quality and efficiency in automotive electronics. You will partner with Design Engineering to define optimal test strategies and lead cross-site initiatives to improve FPY and cycle time. You help industrialize test concepts and ensure successful launches with solid capital plans. You will work across international teams to transfer best practices and scale robust test solutions, contributing to Lear’s mission of excellence and innovation.
Responsabilidades
Standardize manufacturing test solutions across regional plants with emphasis on End-of-Line testing
Identify and deploy best practices and innovative test concepts across sites
Analyze processes and test procedures to improve cycle time, efficiency, and equipment performance
Collaborate with Design Engineering to define test strategies for RFQs, new products, and changes
Evaluate test equipment, suppliers,



and technologies for optimal outcomes
Improve test equipment utilization and monitor FPY and cycle time to meet targets
Architect scalable test solutions maximizing coverage, quality, cost efficiency, and transferability between plants
Support product launches by ensuring industrialization milestones, quality objectives, customer requirements, and CAPEX plans
Requisitos principales
5+ years in test engineering or test production in automotive electronics
3+ years leading engineering teams or regional technical initiatives
Strong knowledge xhfqzwm of manufacturing test systems including EOL testing, process validation, and industrialization
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
Professional proficiency in English and Spanish for international collaboration
