Databricks Data Platform Engineer
For the Data & AI department at NN Group IT is currently seeking an experienced Databricks Data Platform Engineer to help design, operate, and continuously improve our enterprise-grade data platforms. In this role, you will work at the intersection of platform engineering, enablement, and internal consultancy, supporting domain teams to successfully build data and AI solutions on Databricks. .

Your Impact As a Databricks Data Platform Engineer
You will play a key role in standardizing best practices, enabling self-service, and upskilling data engineers, analysts, and data scientists across the organization. The adecuado candidate combines strong technical depth with a coaching mindset and enjoys working closely with teams to accelerate their data maturity.

What are you going to do
Platform engineering & operations

Design, build,



and operate scalable and secure Databricks data platforms in a cloud environment (Azure-based).

Develop and maintain shared platform components, including workspace standards, cluster policies, networking, and integrations.

Automate platform provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.

Ensure platform reliability, performance, cost-efficiency, and observability.

Enablement & self-service

Enable self-service data engineering and analytics capabilities by providing reusable templates, libraries, and reference architectures.

Define and promote platform standards, guardrails, and best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and analytics on Databricks.

Support teams in adopting these standards while balancing autonomy and governance.

Actively remove friction for data teams by improving developer experience on the platform

Consultancy & stakeholder support

Act as a trusted technical advisor for data
