Overview

In this role, you drive the integral conversational AI transformation for Santander’s chat experiences. You will lead end-to-end projects that align with the AI strategy, coordinating with local CDAIOs, technology teams, and business units to deliver measurable value. You will shape the architecture, roadmap, and rollout of AI chat capabilities across channels, and evaluate new features with partners like OpenAI or Anthropic. This is a chance to scale intelligent customer engagement and accelerate a customer-centric, AI-first transformation.

Responsabilidades

- Lead the global AI transformation program for chat products, aligning roadmap with AI strategy
- Translate business needs into scalable, compliant AI use cases
- Collaborate with product and platform teams to integrate AI chat into channels
- Define activities, dependencies and stakeholders for end-to-end delivery
- Understand global chat product architecture and align with product roadmaps
- Identify value-added features from business needs and feasibility




- Pilot new features and technologies with partners such as OpenAI or Anthropic
- Coordinate cross-functional adoption with business, legal, technology, and program teams
- Communicate clearly to diverse audiences and manage complex stakeholder ecosystems
- Translate technical innovations into business impact

Requisitos principales

- 10+ years in technology or engineering roles with at least 5 years leading transformation with DATA/AI
- Proven track record leading projects/teams in complex environments
- Strong expertise in DATA/AI technologies and solutions
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
- Demonstrated leadership in agile, multi-disciplinary teams
- Fluent in English and Spanish

- Pragmatic focus on goals and prioritization
- Data & AI solutions knowledge, including integration architectures and data flows
- Experience with AI chat products and platform architectures
