Experteer Overview
As Data Science Lead, you will steer a small team while remaining hands-on, turning complex data into actionable business insights. You’ll shape the data science roadmap and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver models and analyses that influence strategic decisions. You will own the most challenging projects end-to-end and set technical standards through code reviews and collaboration. This role combines leadership with practical data work to drive measurable business outcomes and support a data-driven culture.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Lead, coach and grow a two-person data science team with clear objectives and development plans
• Remain hands-on by delivering the most complex projects end-to-end and mentoring through code reviews
• Manage team backlog and capacity to ensure predictable delivery and quality
• Translate business challenges into data-driven solutions aligned with strategic goals
• Own the data science roadmap and translate business needs into actionable plans for the team
• Build, deploy and maintain machine learning models to forecast trends and optimize processes




• Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and present findings to diverse stakeholders
• Improve the data science pipeline to meet analytics needs across team.blue
• Collaborate with business leaders, product teams and engineers to ensure solutions meet requirements
• Stay current with data science, AI and ML trends to continually lift the team's capabilities

Responsabilidades
• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years in data science with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven line management and team development experience
• Hands-on credibility with production-quality code and code reviews
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to defend team priorities
• Ability to align data projects with business objectives
• Excellent communication to translate technical insights for varied audiences
• Problem-solving skills with complex, unstructured data
• Proficiency in Python, R or Scala; experience with ML frameworks; SQL; cloud platforms; big data tools
