Product Owner - Hardware & Network Platforms Remobi | Madrid (Hybrid) | B2B/Freelance/Contract | 12 Months Initial (High Chance of Extension) We are Remobi - we help businesses scale and innovate through high-performing, remote nearshore tech teams. Were hiring a Product Owner to lead product planning and delivery for a global energy technology companys Hardware and Network Platform teams. This is a product leadership role spanning SAFe, backlog management, hardware lifecycle, network infrastructure, testing, and release - working closely with engineers, architects, operations teams, and business stakeholders to deliver hardware and network capabilities that support critical business needs. What Youll Do * Own and manage the team backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic objectives * Act as the primary interface between stakeholders and development teams * Define, refine, and prioritize features, capabilities, and user stories * Drive PI Planning activities and support Agile Release Train (ART) execution within the SAFe framework * Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of hardware and network products * Manage the complete hardware lifecycle, including planning, development, deployment, maintenance, and retirement * Coordinate releases across multiple teams and stakeholders * Ensure product quality through active participation in validation, verification, testing, and acceptance activities * Track progress, risks, dependencies, and impediments and proactively drive resolution * Facilitate stakeholder communication and provide regular updates on roadmap, priorities,



and delivery status * Drive continuous improvement in product management, agile practices, and delivery processes What Were Looking For Must-have: * Proven experience as a Product Owner within Hardware, Infrastructure, Network, or Platform environments * Strong understanding of Agile and SAFe methodologies, including PI Planning, backlog management, and ART coordination * Demonstrated experience managing complex stakeholder landscapes across technical and business functions * Experience with hardware product lifecycle management and release management processes * Strong understanding of enterprise network infrastructure technologies * Hands-on experience with Jira for backlog management, planning, reporting, and tracking * Experience defining and coordinating testing strategies, user acceptance testing, and release validation * Ability to work in a general and cross-functional environment Nice-to-have: * SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification * Experience working with global engineering, infrastructure, or operational technology teams * Understanding of cybersecurity, industrial networks, or critical infrastructure environments * Experience coordinating deliveries across distributed teams and external vendors Why This Role Youll own the product backlog for a critical enterprise hardware and network platform, driving PI Planning and ART execution while shaping how a global energy technology company delivers hardware and network capabilities.
