Overview

In this role you will drive strategic imperatives for the Development Unit by leading cross-functional projects from planning to execution. You will engage senior leaders, shape transformation initiatives, and apply premier project management practices to deliver measurable impact. The position sits at the intersection of development units and functions, emphasizing data-driven decision making and stakeholder alignment. You will work in a hybrid Barcelona setting, influencing through the matrix and delivering operating-model improvements that advance drug development and patient outcomes.

Responsabilidades

- Identify and deliver cross-functional strategic projects using data as a baseline
- Ensure independent delivery of large-scale initiatives with clear plans and metrics
- Structure ambiguous problems and translate into Development objectives
- Synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations




- Lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without authority
- Establish trust-based relationships with leaders and stakeholders
- Communicate effectively to senior leaders and other audiences
- Improve operating model design, process simplification, data/technology enablement, and financial success while ensuring quality and compliance
- Model company values and drive change through high-challenge conversations
- Maintain knowledge of process improvement methodologies (IQP, lean six sigma, Scrum, Agile)

Requisitos principales

- 3rd level degree in Life Sciences or Life Science Engineering (ideally)
- MBA would be an advantage
- 10-12 years in R&D; strategic consulting or in Development operations
- Corporate/development experience in complex project management
- Experience in Drug Discovery and Drug Development and lifecycle
