Experteer Overview As a Full Stack Engineering Team Lead at Mitek, you will steer a hands-on, cross-functional engineering team to deliver reliable, production-grade software. You’ll translate product priorities into actionable plans, guide architectural decisions, and mentor engineers while maintaining code quality and security. You’ll work across front-end, back-end, cloud, and infrastructure to balance immediate delivery with long-term maintainability and scale. - Provide day-to-day technical direction and support delivery against priorities
- Contribute hands-on to design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
- Guide architecture and design across front-end, back-end, cloud, and infrastructure
- Break complex initiatives into actionable work and help estimate effort
- Mentor engineers and lead technical discussions
- Review code and uphold standards for quality, maintainability, security, observability, and testing
- Translate requirements from Product and stakeholders into practical technical solutions

- Significant professional software engineering experience with leadership or mentoring
- Strong back-end development experience; production Go experience highly desirable
- Strong JavaScript experience, especially React, and SPA frameworks
- Track record of delivering production-grade full stack applications
- Solid understanding of software architecture, APIs, distributed systems, and modern development practices
- Experience with unit, integration, and performance testing
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (S3, SQS, ECS, EC2, Lambda)
- Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Professional fluency in English
