A leading multinational group is looking for an International Tax Reporting Specialist to join its Corporate Tax Department at its headquarters in Madrid. This is a confidential recruitment process for an in-house role within the holding company of a large international business group. The position offers exposure to highly specialized and evolving areas of international taxation, including Pillar 2 / Global Minimum Tax, Country-by-Country Reporting and tax transparency obligations. Key responsibilities • Support the implementation and ongoing management of Pillar 2 / Global Minimum Tax obligations within the Group. • Assist in the collection, review and analysis of tax and accounting information required for Pillar 2 calculations and reporting. • Support the management of the software application used for Pillar 2 compliance and reporting. • Monitor relevant developments in Pillar 2 regulations and reporting requirements. • Support the preparation and review of Country-by-Country Reporting obligations. • Assist in gathering and validating financial, tax and operational information by jurisdiction. • Support public Country-by-Country Reporting and tax transparency requirements, including obligations applicable in jurisdictions such as the EU and Australia. • Support international tax reporting processes, including the review and analysis of financial and tax information required for Group reporting purposes. • Coordinate with internal tax, finance and accounting teams,
as well as external advisors. Candidate profile • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Law or a related field. • Around 3 years of experience in taxation, preferably in international tax, corporate tax compliance, tax reporting, transfer pricing or tax advisory. • Experience with Country-by-Country Reporting processes will be highly valued. • Specific training, knowledge or experience in Pillar 2 / Global Minimum Tax will be highly valued. • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial information used for tax reporting purposes. • High level of proficiency in spreadsheet and database tools. • Experience in a Big Four firm, international tax advisory firm or multinational group will be highly valued. • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work with financial and tax data from different jurisdictions. • Good coordination and communication skills. • Advanced level of English. • Availability for occasional short business trips.
