Experteer Overview
In this role you will establish and lead ABB Robotics’ integral License Management and Software Asset Management (SAM) capabilities. You will shape governance, policies, and processes, while driving end-to-end license optimisation, compliance, and vendor interactions. You’ll work with IS, Sourcing, Legal, and Finance to embed license practices across the organization. This is a high-impact, global role with opportunities to influence governance and improve asset management at scale.

• Define and drive the global License Management strategy, governance framework, policies, controls and processes
• Lead end-to-end software licence lifecycle and optimisation (entitlements, usage, demand, renewals)
• Own licence compliance and audit readiness (reconciliations, risk identification, remediation)
• Manage licensing relationships with key software vendors; support renewals and licensing terms interpretation




• Own QA of License Management tools and data (ServiceNow SAM Pro or equivalent) and automate processes
• Partner with IS, Sourcing, Legal, Finance and business stakeholders to embed license management practices

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 7 years in SAM, ITAM, software licensing, or IT/IS Vendor Management with global scope
• Strong knowledge of software licensing models, compliance, and audits
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro or similar platform
• Experience with major software publishers and complex enterprise licensing models
• CSAM, ServiceNow CIS-SAM/ITAM or relevant certifications are an advantage
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills
