Field Deployment Engineer | Europe/Benelux | on-site, with occasional travel to client sites
Field Deployment Engineer
This is a hands-on role focused on deploying humanoid robots into live industrial environments. You’ll manage installations at customer sites, configure and troubleshoot systems, adapt robots to operational tasks, and train customer teams before handing over.
The role involves regular travel across Europe and working on-site in factories, warehouses and logistics facilities.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years’ experience working with robotics, industrial automation, mechatronics or complex industrial equipment
- Strong practical fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical and software systems
- Experience installing, commissioning or supporting equipment in customer environments
- Willingness to travel regularly to customer locations across Europe
- Ability to lift equipment up to 30kg
- Full Category B driving licence
- Professional working proficiency in English; Dutch and/or French would be advantageous
Nice to have:
- ROS2 or comparable robotics frameworks
- Knowledge of safety standards (ISO 10218, machinery directive)
- Python and Linux for system configuration, testing or diagnostics
- Industrial or collaborative robot deployment
- Mobile robotics or humanoid robotic systems
- Machinery and robotic safety standards
- Warehouse, manufacturing or logistics automation
Why Join?
This is an opportunity to work directly with emerging robotic technology and see the systems you deploy operating in real production environments. Rather than focusing exclusively on development or R&D;, you’ll own the point where robotics meets the customer, turning new technology into reliable, day-to-day industrial operations.
