For a large-scale industrial project, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer / Lead.

⚠️ Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Belgium/EU. Visa or work permit sponsorship is not available.

Your role

You will coordinate and supervise the pre-commissioning and commissioning of electrical systems, from Mechanical Completion through testing and final handover.

Your responsibilities:

- Prepare and review commissioning plans and Commissioning Test Procedures (CTPs).
- Coordinate electrical commissioning activities with the overall project schedule.
- Review Vendor procedures and Subcontractor Method Statements.
- Supervise testing of HV/LV systems, switchgear, transformers, MCCs, motors, UPS and protection systems.
- Coordinate functional tests, interlocks, interfaces and integration testing.
- Drive Mechanical Completion on system and subsystem level.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate corrective actions.
- Follow up NCRs,



punch lists and test documentation.
- Coordinate Vendors, Subcontractors and other commissioning disciplines.
- Ensure correct implementation of RAMS, PTW and LOTO.
- Support final acceptance and handover to Operations.

Your profile

- Bachelor/Master in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Solid experience in Electrical Commissioning within industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of LV and/or HV electrical installations.
- Experience with switchgear, transformers, MCCs, motors and electrical protection.
- Familiar with Mechanical Completion, commissioning and handover.
- Strong knowledge of PTW, LOTO and RAMS.
- Able to coordinate Vendors and Subcontractors on site.
- Safety-minded, hands-on and technically strong.
- Already authorised to work in Belgium/EU – no sponsorship available.
