We are seeking an experienced Global Test Manager to lead the testing workstream of a large-scale global enterprise transformation program involving the implementation of AMOS, a Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) aircraft maintenance and engineering system across multiple airline operations.
The role is responsible for defining and executing the global testing strategy, managing quality assurance activities, coordinating business-focused testing efforts, and ensuring successful deployment through cut-over preparation, go-live readiness rehearsals, deployment support, and post go-live stabilization. The environment follows a Waterfall delivery methodology and requires extensive collaboration with business stakeholders, airlines, implementation partners, and program leadership on a general scale.
The successful candidate will combine strong test leadership, stakeholder management, governance, and operational readiness expertise, with proven experience in enterprise transformation programs, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business process validation, and aviation-related environments.
Your missions:
- Lead the global testing strategy for the implementation of an enterprise aviation maintenance platform.
- Ensure end-to-end quality assurance throughout the program lifecycle.
- Manage and coordinate all testing activities across business, functional, technical, and operational domains.
- Drive business process validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) within a COTS environment.
- Coordinate global testing teams, airline representatives, business users, and implementation partners.
- Support deployment readiness, cut-over activities, go-live rehearsals, and transition into production.
- Ensure post-deployment stabilization, issue triage, and business continuity.
- Provide governance, reporting, risk management, and continuous improvement for testing and quality management practices.
Your activities:
- Define, lead,
and execute the global testing strategy aligned with business objectives and quality standards.
- Establish testing methodologies, governance frameworks, quality standards, and defect management processes.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all test phases, including:
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Integration Testing
- Regression Testing
- Performance Testing
- End-to-End Business Process Validation
- Lead and coordinate distributed testing teams and airline business users involved in UAT activities.

- Manage test planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, issue management, and quality assurance activities.
- Prepare and coordinate cut-over testing activities.

- Coordinate post go-live triage and stabilization activities.
- Drive issue resolution and business continuity efforts.
- Identify testing risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Produce executive-level reporting on:

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes and quality management practices.

Mandatory Requirements
- 10+ years in software and business testing.
- 3+ years as Test Manager, Test Lead, or equivalent leadership role.
- Proven UAT and business process validation experience.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
- ISTQB certification.
- Excellent documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Fluent English.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in aviation or a closely related operational environment.
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, Aviation, or related field.
- Experience with aviation Maintenance Information Systems (MIS).
- Experience with AMOS implementations.
- Experience with Trax to AMOS migrations.
- Knowledge of airline operations and maintenance processes.
- Additional languages: Dutch, French, or German.
- Experience working with globally distributed organizations and stakeholders.
