JOB TITLE: BUSINESS ANALYST APPLICATION MOBILE
LANGUAGES REQUIRED: DUTCH OR FRENCH, ENGLISH

MODE OF WORK: FULL TIME (HYBRID AND 2-3 DAYS ONSITE PER WEEK)
CONTRACT DURATION: ASAP - 11/11/2026+POSSIBLE OF EXTENSION
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- You work in the Business Solutions department and report to the Build & Transform Manager. The main mission of the department is to guarantee internal performance by offering quality IT solutions. We develop, operate and maintain a whole range of IT solutions for internal use such as the SAP suite, but also document management solutions such as Documentum or OpenText, file management solutions, the intranet as well as the Client mobile application and the website. We propose and develop a strategic vision for the digital evolution of Client's internal performance.
- You will join the Build & Transform team, in charge of the analysis, preparation and execution of the department's projects.
As part of the complete redesign of the Client mobile application, we are looking for a Business Analyst capable of ensuring the link between:
- business needs,
- user experience (UX),
- design teams,
- and development teams.
- The role is central to structuring user journeys, transforming needs into actionable specifications and ensuring consistency between business journeys, UX/UI screens and the development backlog.
- The Business Analyst will be involved in the entire functional definition cycle up to development preparation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Business Analyst is responsible for:
- define and structure User Journeys,
- Transform business needs into detailed journeys.
- Identify the necessary functionalities,
- Manage nominal and edge cases.
- structurer les User Stories et Acceptance Criteria,
- prepare the elements necessary for UX/UI work,
- ensure traceability between business needs, UX and delivery.
It acts as a pivot between:
- profession,
- UX/UI,
- architecture,
- development,
- QA,
- and project management.
End Goal of the Role
Ensure that:
- business needs are correctly translated,
- user journeys are consistent,
- the screens are exhaustively defined,
- UX/UI teams have a clear framework,
- and that development teams can implement unambiguously.
Key Responsibilities
Business analysis and functional framing
- Gather business and user needs
- Challenge requests to clarify real objectives
- Structure User Journeys
- Identify pain points and complex cases
- Prioritize needs with the Product Owner and PM
Structuration des User Journeys
- Define end-to-end user journeys
- Break down journeys into detailed steps
- Identifier:
- variants,
- exceptions,
- in case of error,
- offline scenarios,
- real-time dependencies,
- Accessibility needs (PRM)
- Ensure complete coverage of critical pathways
Transformation Journey → Features → Screens → Stories
- The BA will have to structure and maintain full traceability:
- User Journey: → Features→ Screens→ User Stories→ Acceptance Criteria
UX/UI Preparation
The BA prepares the elements necessary for the work of designers:
- definition of screen mesh,
- description of functional behaviors,
- Definition of the states:
- loading,
- error,
- empty,
- offline,
- edge cases.
The BA works closely with the UX/UI Designers to ensure consistency in the pathways.
Backlog Management
- Write Epics and User Stories
- Define Acceptance Criteria
- Structure dependencies
- Preparing the refinements
- Maintain a clear and actionable backlog
Coordination delivery
- Collaborate with technical teams to clarify expected behaviors
- Participate in UX/UI workshops
- Participate in Agile refinements
- Support QA/UAT teams
Documentation & Governance
- Maintain Functional Documentation in Confluence
- Structuring functional repositories
- Ensuring document consistency
- Ensure traceability between:
- needs,
- Career,
- screens,
- stories,
- tests.
