We're looking for a z/OS System Programmer to join our GIS team in the EU (remote/distributed).

What you'll do

Install, configure and maintain z/OS and its associated software componentsExecute builds, migrations, refresh, CPU swaps and LPAR build/decommission projectsProvide 24x7 on-call support and participate in disaster recovery drillsManage security profiles, access control and I/O configurationAnalyze system performance using SMF dataMaintain technical documentation and knowledge base articlesLead and mentor a remote team distributed across several EU countriesWhat we're looking for:8+ years in z/OS system programmingStrong command of z/OS architecture, system commands, utilities and troubleshootingExperience with system management tools and automationGood level of EnglishLeadership, communication and problem-solving skillsNice to have:z/OS certification or related fieldExperience with JES, IMS, CICSKnowledge of REXX or COBOLExperience with cloud-based mainframe environmentsWhat DXC offers you:
