Overview In this backend-focused role, you will help build and scale Deel’s APIs and services used by global customers. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to design robust features, optimize performance, and ensure a customer-centric engineering approach. and continually improve products * Identify and fix bugs rapidly to maintain Deel speed * Deliver quality engineering with a customer-centric focus Requisitos principales * Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript proficiency * Experience with at least one other server-side language * SQL expertise with PostgreSQL, query optimization, migrations, data modeling * Strong understanding of OOP and design patterns * Designing scalable systems to handle high growth and load * API development with input validation, JWT, and secure, scalable queue-based architectures * At least 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer * Remote collaboration and proactive communication * Ownership and autonomy balanced with teamwork * Clear explanation of complex technical concepts to varied audiences * Node.js * TypeScript/JavaScript * PostgreSQL
