Offer Description
The IE School of Science and Technology at invites applications for a full-time, open-rank faculty position in Mechanical Engineering, with a specialization in Fluid Mechanics. The position may be offered at the tenure-track or tenured level, depending on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience.
Spanish language skills are not required. Our working language is English. Both our faculty and student body are highly diverse and international.

Skills/Qualifications
The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching in areas such as Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and Thermal-Fluid Systems.
They will also be expected to develop an internationally recognized research program and secure funding through competitive national and international research programs
Specific Requirements
We are particularly interested in candidates whose research addresses one or more of the following areas:
- Theoretical, experimental, and computational fluid mechanics
- Computational fluid dynamics and high-performance computing
- Aerodynamics and aerospace applications
- Thermal-fluid systems, heat transfer, and energy conversion
- Renewable energy systems, including wind, hydro, and ocean energy
- Fluid mechanics for sustainable buildings, cities, and transportation
- Biofluid mechanics and biomedical applications
Candidates working at the intersection of these areas or applying multidisciplinary approaches to emerging challenges in energy, manufacturing, healthcare, and sustainability are strongly encouraged to apply.
