DESCRIPTION
At Amazon, we are working to be the most customer-centric company on earth, where customers can find and discover anything they might want to buy online. Same Day is where that promise moves fastest. It is the speed frontier of Amazon delivery: customers order and receive their items within hours, on the same day, through a purpose-built network of Same Day sites and last mile operations. It is one of the fastest-growing parts of the business, with EU volumes set to grow by nearly 40% between 2026 and 2029. Delivering that growth depends on sizing the last mile operation (AMZL) correctly, and the mid-term planning team plays a key role in enabling it: translating demand into the volume signals and plans that operations teams rely on to build capacity, control cost, and delight customers with unmatched speed over the next five years.
The goal of Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is to build a world class last mile operation, exceeding the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible.
We are now looking to hire a passionate, dynamic, analytical, innovative, hands-on and customer-obsessed candidate to improve speed for the EU network. The EU Same Day planning lead (Analyst II) acts as the lead on driving speed and cost performance through projects and network initiatives, and will form a business partnership with first and middle mile stakeholders and operational AMZL teams.

- Identify and deliver operational improvement opportunities in network capacity, focusing on inventory management, logistics strategy, and transportation optimization.
