We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join one of our teams based in Barcelona

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain core services and libraries in Python
- Design and evolve critical platform components (high impact and high availability).
- Adapt or create shared libraries to support other teams.
- Ensure code quality through testing (TDD/BDD) and best practices.
- Work closely with other technical teams, such as the internal support team.

REQUIREMENTS

- At least 5 years of experience as a developer.
- Strong experience building distributed, high‑volume services (mainly Python).
- High‑quality code: Clean Code, TDD, BDD, DDD, SOLID.
- Transitioning to GoLang (no migration yet).
- Curiosity, proactivity, team spirit and passion.
- Comfortable with Scrum / Kanban (anti V‑model).
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Interest in the stack:
- AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, REST APIs, Python, Go, Vue.js, Nuxt, Algolia, Datadog, Spinnaker, SQS, ElasticSearch, Nginx, UWSGI
