Overview In this role you support the academic programs and student experience at IRB Barcelona, ensuring smooth operation of the Undergraduate Programme and fellowship schemes. You will liaise with students, researchers and external partners to foster talent retention and a positive academic environment. You will be involved in career development advising and cross-institution collaborations, contributing to the centre's mission of scientific excellence.

This position offers exposure to international researchers and a chance to influence training and academic affairs at a leading biomedical institute.

Responsabilidades Oversee the Undergraduate Programme organization

Support Predoctoral and Postdoctoral Fellowship Programmes (calls, eligibility, interviews, onboarding)

Implement the Complementary Training Programme





Provide career development advising to predoctoral researchers

Offer personalized support to students, student committees and scientists on academic affairs

Assist with activities for young researchers and facilitate collaborations with other institutes

Maintain Academic Office databases, update website/intranet, serve as Key User for the recruitment portal

Support visits for international students to the Institute

Requisitos principales Proven experience in career advising, academic programmes, or similar in a research/academic setting

Degree in life sciences-related field or Humanities

Proficient in Catalan, Spanish and English (spoken and written)

Knowledge of the academic research environment

Effective communication with diverse stakeholders

Strong problem-solving and proactive attitude

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Database and online platform management

Familiarity with fellowship and training programme processes

General understanding of HR policies and processes
