Support Application Engineer

The Siemens EDA Global Support team is seeking a dynamic Support Application Engineer for the Xpedition Enterprise and EDM tools suite. Building on EDA experience and system administration skills, this individual will serve as a key member of an award‐winning Electronic Design Automation technical support team committed to providing excellent technical support. They will work directly with internal and external customers to resolve tool issues, partner with account teams to educate users and grow product usage, and create knowledge content for the web‐based support portal.





Help customers achieve project deadlines by providing support by phone, electronic means, or on‐site Capture knowledge for web‐based support systems in the form of articles, white papers, and videos Provide proactive customer feedback into product marketing and engineering to drive improvement and future evolution of the product line Provide first‐line support for all tools in the Xpedition tool suite Broad knowledge in electrical system design Ability to build strong rapport and credibility with customers' organizations while maintaining an internal network of contacts Proficiency in English and Spanish language Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and C# Strong project management and communication skills – both written and verbal; prior project management experience is a plus At Siemens Software, flexibility is how we work—hybrid by default, built on trust and autonomy. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job‐related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
