As Assistant
Director of Human Resources, you will support the Director of Human Resources in leading and implementing the resort's people strategy while ensuring excellence in day-to-day HR operations. You will play a key role in fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture, partnering closely with department leaders and employees across the resort. We are looking for a proactive, approachable, and business-oriented HR professional with excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a genuine passion for helping people.
Ensure compliance with Spanish labor legislation, collective agreements, and applicable company policies. Contribute to workforce planning, staffing analysis, and organizational effectiveness. In conjunction with the Director of Human Resources, lead HR projects, audits, meetings, and initiatives at resort and Marriott level.
Support the Director of Human Resources in the implementation of the resort's people strategy and HR initiatives. Act as a trusted HR partner to department leaders and employees, providing guidance and support on people-related matters. Support recruitment, selection, onboarding, and talent attraction initiatives.
Ensure an excellent employee onboarding experience aligned with The Ritz-Carlton culture and service philosophy. Support performance management, employee development, and succession planning processes. Support the implementation of Marriott International and The Ritz-Carlton HR policies, procedures, and standards.
Provide guidance to managers on employee relations, performance, attendance, conduct, and workplace matters.
Support disciplinary and grievance processes in accordance with company policies and applicable legislation. Monitor and develop HR metrics in conjunction with HR Director and prepare relevant reports to support business and people's decisions.
Support payroll and HR administration processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Ensure that confidential employee records and HR documentation are being hold accurately. Support the HR team in maintaining a high level of service to employees and internal stakeholders.
We are looking for an experienced, multi-faceted HR professional with a genuine passion for hospitality, people development, and organizational excellence, who will have the potential to take on broader responsibilities as the role evolves. A minimum of 3 years in an HR Manager (or above) capacity in a complex, luxury hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of Spanish labor legislation and HR best practices.
Proven previous experience in Human Resources, preferably within luxury hotels, resorts, or high-end hospitality environments.
Experience with HR systems and digital HR tools is essential. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Labor Relations, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management. Genuine passion for people, hospitality, luxury service, and employee experience.
Experience supporting managers and employees across multiple operational departments. Fluency in Spanish and English. After one year of service, enjoy the resort as a guest and experience it from the other side.
