Overview

As a Backend Engineer in Málaga, you will advance the Sportsbook domain by delivering scalable, secure backends and shaping the architecture. You'll collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to validate designs and drive impactful solutions. The role focuses on building production-ready services, improving observability, and mentoring teammates, all within a fast-paced, agile environment.

Responsabilidades Own problems and collaborate across teams to design and implement solutions from idea to production

Build scalable, available, high-performance, and secure services across the stack

Work with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and developers in an agile setting





Integrate new products and develop internal services to support the ecosystem

Conduct code reviews and mentor teammates to raise engineering quality

Ensure production readiness through monitoring, alerts, and on-call participation

Requisitos principales 4+ years of software development experience with Java and Spring Boot

Experience with event-driven architectures and designing microservices

Knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, and Kafka messaging systems

Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and caching

Implementing resilience patterns (retries, circuit breakers, graceful degradation)

Experience building highly scalable RESTful microservices

Experience designing monitoring dashboards (metrics, logs, traces) and alerts

Collaborative mindset in cross-functional teams
