Why do WE NEED YOU? … Because we need to strengthen our Infrastructure and Systems team for our customer projects by hiring a Business Solution (ERP) Specialist Engineer .

What will your work environment be like?

You will join our teams with the mission of providing customers with operational support for the implementation of new business solutions and the maintenance of existing ones.

To do so, you will need to understand their operations and critically assess their processes in order to identify and implement improvements across the different production plants.

You will be able to work REMOTELY , but you must be willing to travel to the customer’s different plants across Europe when required for implementations, requirements gathering, and other project-related activities.

What requirements do i need to meet?

Technical education, university degree or higher-level vocational training.

ITIL certification or at least 5 years of experience working in an IT organisation.

Experience and knowledge of ERP logic and interfaces between systems. Knowledge of EDI will be HIGHLY VALUED.

Experience in a similar position, with specific technical knowledge of:

- ERP systems (preferably Odoo), including configuration, implementation and maintenance of modular ERP architectures with components such as WMS, EDI, JIT/JIS sequencing, production scheduling, material requirements planning, etc.
- Power Platform: Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Python (or a similar programming language) for process automation.

Knowledge of supply chain processes in industrial environments will be an advantage. Fluent English (ESSENTIAL ). Knowledge of other languages (Dutch, French or German) will be considered an advantage.

Willingness and availability to travel to different plants across Europe for implementations and/or requirements gathering.

with a strong focus on change management, excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and persuade.

The position requires travelling to different work sites in various European countries where implementations are carried out.

What will your responsibilities be?

Configuration, implementation and maintenance of a modular ERP architecture with components such as WMS, EDI, JIT/JIS sequencing, material requirements planning, production planning, etc.

Data integration and analysis.

Data mapping and process automation using Python and SQL .

Development of dashboards using Power BI , together with Power Apps and Power Automate .

Development of linear programming models for production planning, material requirements planning, etc.

Systems integration and configuration.

Incident Management

- Act as the first point of contact for incidents and coordinate response and corrective action plans, as well as the measures to be implemented.
- Provide direct support and resolve incidents.
- Escalate issues or incidents to the relevant software service providers.
- Act as the liaison between internal users and software service providers.

Develop and maintain documentation. Promote best practices and procedures.
