Overview In this role you will ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of CICS services on IBM Mainframe. You'll lead incident resolution and collaborate with development and support teams to deliver robust, highly available systems. You will design, implement, and optimize CICS environments while driving automation and operational excellence. Responsabilidades Install, configure, and support CICS systems software

Manage CICS resource definitions and configurations

Provide Level 2/3 support and incident resolution for production environments

Plan and implement new CICS releases and maintenance

Lead problem determination, root cause analysis, and recovery during incidents

Design solutions to improve availability, performance, and efficiency

Develop backup, recovery, and business continuity procedures

Administer security controls (RACF, ACF2)



and support IAM practices

Capacity planning and performance tuning for CICS environments

Support change/release management and maintain technical documentation

Requisitos principales Several years of Mainframe Systems Programming experience with CICS administration and support

Experience with large-scale CICS environments and transactional server lifecycle

Hands-on experience with CICS TS, SMP/E, z/OS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, RACF

Ability to analyze and resolve complex system/application issues

Experience in production-critical systems with stringent availability requirements

Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills

Ability to work independently and with global teams strong communication leadership and mentoring problem-solving and analytical thinking
