Overview In this role you shape the cloud foundation powering drug discovery and development. You'll design and scale secure, enterprise-grade cloud platforms and own the technical roadmap for cloud infra, collaborating with general teams to deliver robust deployments. You'll work mainly with AWS, integrating with Azure AD, to accelerate research outcomes and enable innovative solutions in Healthcare R&D.;

This role combines architecture leadership with hands-on backend engineering in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment.

Responsabilidades Design, build, and evolve secure, scalable cloud-native platforms

Own and drive the technical roadmap for cloud infrastructure

Lead engineering of data archiving processes

Implement new platform capabilities and ensure high-quality deployments

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the US, Europe, and India

Integrate AWS-based solutions with Azure Active Directory





Requisitos principales 10+ years of hands-on experience designing and delivering secure, scalable cloud-native systems on AWS at enterprise scale

Proficiency in Python, SQL and relational databases

Experience with object-oriented languages (Scala, Java, or C#)

Strong RESTful APIs, microservices, serverless patterns, and CI/CD development (Azure DevOps preferred)

AWS security best practices including MFA, encryption, IAM policies

Fluent English with experience working across distributed teams

Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS Fargate)

Infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK)

Knowledge of data platforms such as Snowflake (advantage)
