Overview

As a Senior Data Scientist at AVEVA in Madrid, you will lead complex data science projects and develop advanced ML models to enable data-driven decision making. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to translate data into actionable insights and scalable solutions. You'll design and deploy AI agents and robust data pipelines, balancing performance with business impact.

Responsabilidades Participate in all stages of data science projects—from problem definition to model deployment and monitoring

Co-design, develop, and deploy ML models and statistical algorithms to address business problems

Create, deploy, and maintain AI agents, including autonomous workflows and multi-agent systems

Define and apply best practices for AI agent development, evaluation, and safety protocols

Monitor performance of deployed AI agents to ensure reliability, scalability,



and alignment with business objectives

Promote best practices for DS processes and code development, including documentation

Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Collaborate with data engineers to ensure robust data pipelines and scalable deployments

Stay current with research trends in data science, ML, and AI

Requisitos principales 5+ years in data science or ML roles

Proficiency in Python with scikit-learn, langgraph and langchain

Experience with SQL databases

Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure) and familiarity with Azure Databricks

Solid understanding of statistical modeling, ML, data mining, and NLP

Proven track record deploying AI agents and ML models to production with measurable impact

Knowledge of git/version control
