VHIR offers a vacant position for a postdoctoral
researcher in Rare Respiratory Diseases within the Paediatric
Pulmonology and Cystic Fibrosis Unit (Growth and Development
Research Group). Main responsibilities and duties: Coordinate and
manage a research project on pulmonary function in patients with
cystic fibrosis and primary ciliary dyskinesia using lung clearance
index techniques. Collaborate in the analysis of diagnostic tests
for primary ciliary dyskinesia and in the establishment of cell
cultures for the development of new therapies. Education and
qualifications: Required: Degree in Paediatrics Certified training
in paediatric pulmonology PhD in rare respiratory diseases
Specialised training in cystic fibrosis and primary ciliary
dyskinesia Fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English Experience and
knowledge: Required: At least 10 years of experience working in
cystic fibrosis and primary ciliary dyskinesia. Knowledge in
performing cell cultures and high-speed video microscopy analysis.
Labour conditions: Full-time position: 37.5h/week. Starting date:
July 2026.
Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on
experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our
