Are you a driven IT Support professional ready to take the next step in your career?
We're looking for a bilingual Desktop Support Analyst to become the key IT support contact for our Madrid office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong 1st Line/Desktop Support experience who is ready to move into a broader and more autonomous role with significant growth potential.
Initially, you'll be responsible for supporting our Spanish business operations, providing exceptional IT support to users and ensuring a seamless technology experience across the office. However, this role is expected to evolve and expand into a wider European support position, offering exposure to international stakeholders and exciting career development opportunities.
As a standalone IT resource in Madrid, you'll work closely with and report into the London-based IT Operations team while also leveraging a local support network. This role offers the chance to have genuine influence, build strong business relationships, and secure a seat at the table within a growing international organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing 1st and 2nd line desktop support to business users across Spain.
- Managing incidents,
requests and service-related activities through to resolution.
- Supporting meeting room technology, audio-visual equipment and workplace technology.
- Building, deploying and maintaining laptops, mobile devices and other IT equipment.
- Managing user onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Supporting printer management and office technology requirements.
- Working closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver an outstanding user experience.
- Collaborating with IT colleagues across Europe, the UK and the US.
- Contributing to projects and initiatives as the role expands across Europe.
Titulaciones
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within an IT Support, Service Desk or Desktop Support environment.
- A strong customer-focused approach and excellent communication skills.
- Someone ready to progress beyond a traditional 1st Line Support role and take ownership of their own area.
- Ability to work independently and confidently manage priorities in a standalone position.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a willingness to go above and beyond for users.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting Windows environments, end-user devices and workplace technologies.
Essential Requirements
- Fluent Spanish and English (written and spoken).
- Ability to participate confidently in interviews conducted in English. Please note that two stages of the interview process will be conducted in English.
- Ability to work from our Madrid office 4 days per week.
- Flexibility to support business needs, including working patterns aligned to operational requirements.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe when required.
